Straw Into Gold / April 2029

Late nineties indie band Straw are set to accompany the re-release of their debut album with a whopping 27 date UK tour, which will be 15 gigs more than the band has ever played since their formation in 1998. The ambitious revival backed by Columbia Records sees the Bristol bands debut album Shoplifting repackaged as a 6 piece 180grm vinyl box set containing 4 live CDs, a 48 page booklet, a tour poster and various other memorabilia. Limited to 100,000 copies and retailing at £39.99 it is unclear whether they intend to record new material or if this is to be the end for the band.
