Modern Blur is Rubbish? / March 2019

Blur have caused outrage after announcing the release of another best of compilation, the third inside 18 months and their fourteenth altogether. What has angered fans is the fact that the album entitled BLUR: Blur, the Whole Blur and Nothing but the Blur contains the same tracklisting as Blur: The Best Of released in 2000 just in a different order, with the only difference being an alternative version of  Song 2 as a hidden track. One fan who was so outraged at having to fork out for another Blur best of reportedly posted CD copies of all fourteen Blur Best of albums in a jiffy bag to Parlophone records with a note saying: THIS. HAS. TO. STOP.

Blur were not available to comment although on Damon Albarns website this cryptic message appeared last night:

"FUK THA H8TRS. IF IT AINT BROKEN DONT FIX EET! SWEEEET X ;/ X X X"
